Based on over a decade of experience and research, we have come to the conclusion that audio shelves are no longer just furniture that supports audio devices, but it is also an important component that contributes in sound performance. The principle of Resonance of materials, the concept of vibration transfer and the design of the shelf all directly affect the audio system. Based on this knowledge, Tombo Audio has developed a set of audio racks that offer the highest performance for the audio system.

The reason we created the Mini rack size is we found that people often neglect to organize their small devices, like streamers or routers. If people are aware of how to organize their entire sound system, no matter the size of the devices, they will realize that the performance of their sound system is far better than they expected.

Features

1. X Shape involves creating angles that extend from the edge of the shelf. It is used to direct the force to reach the post more quickly while also preventing the vibration force from being able to run back. The corners created will be rounded to prevent the incoming force from causing reflection, but instead, it will circulate the force in a circular motion to facilitate the dissipation of vibration force to the ground more quickly.

2. Frameless Design emphasizes a clean and spacious appearance. Wherever it is placed, it highlights the audio equipment and also enhances the clarity of sound. This is because having a frame can hinder the distribution and directionality of pressure and vibration.

3. Force Transmission Concept. The design of the rack focuses on directing vibration forces in every component, starting from absorbing the weight from the audio device, the vibrations generated by the audio device or amplifier, and the vibrations from the speakers that collide with the rack. All of these vibrations will be accumulated and dissipated quickly to the ground, including surface treatments that facilitate the induction and accumulation of vibrations to ensure maximum efficiency in transferring vibrations to the ground.

Additionally, to allow for the quickest dissipation of vibrations to the ground, the Black Diamond Rack mini is designed without beams in the structure because beams tend to distribute compressive forces and vibrations to other parts of the rack. This prevents the rapid transfer of vibrations, particularly from standing waves produced by the speakers, leading to residual vibrations in the audio system and what is known as background noise from unresolved vibrations.

4. H&H Extension (Height and Harmonics Extension) is the design of an extension with directional control and unequal distances of vibrational forces to create harmonic. Therefore, this extension not only increases height but also enhances the harmonic and dynamic of the music.

5. Surface Treatment involves treating the surface of materials, including various joints, to ensure that all components can effectively transfer forces.

6. Additional upgrade like Magic Spike 04 can be use in place of regular tiptoe to enhance the dissipation of vibration.
